Bedtime story from the digital rat

At one time, most people used to be offline. And some people were online.
Those "some people" were considered to have no life!
The OFFLINERS laughed at the ONLINERS.

Over time, as leaves grow and fall....
Over time, as one president gets into an affair and another gets laughed at...
Over time, as my weight goes up and doesn't come down....
More and more people are getting online.

People ask Google "why is the sky so high?", and Google shows 53million results
People write tips and reviews and how-to's and share the knowledge around
eHow.com describes how to tell a George Bush joke
and YouTube becomes a "new free channel"

Now, SO MANY people are online and some people get left behind and remain offline.
Now, the ONLINERS laugh at the OFFLINERS.

Interesting twist isn't it?

p.s. I SHOULD make a funky animation out of this!

  1. Hmmm...
while you were online you just added another couple of ounces (inches?) of body fat.
    Go ride a real bike.
Go smell the fresh grass... go and get a real suntan... go and enjoy some real P2P interaction.
*After* all of that, and only *after* turno on your computer and enjoy whatever digital delights you indulge in.

  2. LoL Uncle GroOve - by "real P2P interaction" do you mean F2F? Because internet junks and sluts all do have real P2P interaction, certainly not with bots. But ok...that aside, do you think the Internet is keeping people away from real F2F interaction?
p.s. what sorta digital handcraft are you a lover of?

But seriously, i like what you made. Nice combination of sounds and visuals.

What did you have in mind when you created this?
And who are you aiming to share it with?

Wooow, those sound like researchquestions about goals and users ;-)
